This tour is usually patched to another group because there are only a few participants, and the main group (of the other tour) includes a trip up Mt Titlis which lasted 3 hours. Since you are not in the main group, YOU SAT AT THE BUS STATION FOR 3 HOURS with nothing to do and nothing to see, because Engelberg is a resort town full of small hotels but no shops or restaurants. You don't even see kiosks offering activities. Repeat: there is nothing to do and nothing to see in Engelberg! Don't book this tour to waste 3 hours in frustration…”

“Unfortunately on the day we had booked bad weather prevented us from going to Engleberg. Instead we were taken to Mount Rigi for a train trip up the mountain and back down by cable car. We then went to spend a couple of hours in Lucerne. It was a good experience but we were looking forward to the village trip. This was a trip hastily put together in order not to let people down, so overall they did well.”

Even guide did not stayed back with me. I was asked to return till lucern alone next day. I did it but thought I wasted money by booking through viator .i could have booked directly with agency would have given more choice and control and clarity of the arrangements.”
