After arrival and tickets it was noon before we reached the bridge with strict instructions to be on the cable car down no later than 1.30pm. The hour and a half allocated was literally enough time to walk the bridge and see the glacier 3000 sign at the beginning of the trail. Never got close to the fun park or time to grab a coffee. Travelling from Montreux it would have been cheaper to have made our own way there and back with…”

The Matterhorn itself is magic. Glacier Paradise was fantastic. Word to the wise, if the weather forecast is cloudy you will not see a single mountain top. Keep your eyes on the weather. But the cable car ride up, the beautiful ice sculptures inside and the potato rosti made to order are above and beyond.”
