“When booked for November 2025, boat ride & gondola lift were both cancelled when we showed up. They compensated with $20 certificate per person to spend at Mount Pilatus, but this was very disapointing. Would not have booked this tour if knew this in advance. Guide was no benefit as they only accompanied us for the bus ride to and from Mount Pilatus and really didn't add to the experience.”

“It was a lovely day! I was disappointed by the amount of time we had in Lucerne. I wish the bus could drop us off closer to downtown - as walking to and back to it takes about 20 mins. If anyone gets motion sickness they definitely need to take medication before this tour. It was an incredibly experience and a beautiful way to see Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus! It was a long day but one filled with excellent memories.”

“This is a tour we could’ve done completely on our own. Guide was nice, but offered information only when asked about something. His function seemed to be only to accompany us and tell us when to get off the bus and where to go. After going on other tours booked through Viator, my expectations were not met at all. I know admission fees are high for the tram, but with a price tag of over 500+ CHF for the tour, I was expecting much more. So disappointing!”

“Tour was ok. However a toll free number for viator is must. You should also inform that how many remaining passengers left for booking. In my case I was only one member who stayed at pilatus. Even guide did not stayed back with me. I was asked to return till lucern alone next day. I did it but thought I wasted money by booking through viator .i could have booked directly with agency would have given more choice and control and clarity of the arrangements.”

“Please don’t buy this Zurich: an Adventure to Pilatus Gold and Silver Tour and Lucerne. I made that mistake and was sadly disappointed. The problems? 1) The drive there was ridiculous. It appeared at first that they were trying to load a recording, but couldn’t get it to work. The guide – I use the word loosely – fumbled around, then just turned it off. He gave a super brief, few sentence explanation of the Swiss government, then just ignored us and talked to the driver in German. There were five of us tourists on the bus, and we all spoke English.
